Former Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the then Atwima Nwabiagya District in the Ashanti region, Abusuapanyin Joseph Amankwah, aka Akintola has saddenly passed away at the age of 78 Africannewsgh.com can confirm.
This sad incident happened on the 5th of March 2021 at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital from an undisclosed sickness.
According to sources gathered by this notable platform, Akintola as been affectionately called was not feeling well for the past one week.
He together with other NPP executives in the Atwima Nwabiagya district fought very hard to enable President Agyekum Kuffour to become the President of the republic of Ghana for 8 years.
Akintola will always be remembered for his courage and doesn’t tolerate any abysmal behavior.
He left behind a wife and about 10 children.
