A 32 year old load boy at the Santasi, Abuakwa and Obuasi station on the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) has been stabbed to death over Ghc3.00 gambling money at Pakyi no.1 in the Amansie West District around 11:pm yesterday.
According to the wife of the deceased, Maame Serwaa who spoke to Africannewsgh reporter, Nana Frimpong said,her husband,Kofi Nyamekye, aka, Pound Sterling was fighting for his Ghc3.00 gambling money and in the course of a heated argument between the winner and the loser, before he could say jack, Pound Sterling throat was been slashed.
She added that, the suspect earlier slashed his hand but the deceased overpowered him and hit him with a block.
“My husband decided to attack the suspect after he fell down but had his throat slashed”she lamented.
The suspect is currently on the run as the time the story was filed.
