Some Caterers at the Asokore Mampong Municipality have accused the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Alidu Seidu for sideling them from the School Feeding Program.
According to the angry Caterers, Hon. Alidu Seidu during a meeting with the Caterers in the Municipality stated that, he is going to deal with anyone who voted against him during the 2020 general elections.
Madam Lizzy we, one of the Caterers added that, they had already bought their food stuffs and other equipments for the commencement of the school feeding only to know that some of them will be left out.
“Hon. Alidu Seidu boldly said he is going to mafia us because he didn’t win the parliamentary seat” she lament in an interview with Oyerapa fm Morning show monitored by Africannewsgh.
“I woke up to realize that l have been removed from the WhatsApp group that we created and upon further questions, I was told I,m no longer part of the School Feeding Program because I voted against Hon.Alidu Seidu”, she said.
She noted that, that, Hon. Alidu Seidu is trying to creat confusion among the NPP supporters in the Municipality.
She revealed that, they are at the various schools cooking for the school children under the school feeding program.
Meanwhile the Ashanti regional School feeding Coordinator, Madam Mary Duodu has stated that, only old caterers are permitted to cook.
