Majority of the work has already been done- Obeng Asamoah explained why Gov,t reduced his Ministers

Communication,s Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Lawyer Obeng Asamoah has explained why President Akufo Addo has reduced his Ministry from 126 to 85.

According majority of the work has been completed in his first term hence the need for him to scrub those sectors.

He added that, President Akufo had a vision to develop the country in some areas which has been completed.

“Some of the Ministries like the establishment of the Regional Re- Organization which was to supervise that creation of the other six regions which has been done hence it doesn’t need to be a Ministry again”, he said in an interview on Nhyira fm monitored by Africannewsgh.

He noted that, President Akufo Addo didn’t take the decision alone but rather there was a consultation between him and some people before appointing his Ministers.

He again revealed that, he doesn’t need to be a Minister before serving the country but rather he will do so as the Communication’s Director of the NPP.
