COVID-19: 36 HEALTH WORKERS AT KATH TEST POSITIVE

36 Health Workers at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) have tested positive of coronavirus.

Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital District Chairman for Ghana Registerd Nurses and Midwifery association, Gaberiel Ofori Agyei speaking to Aduanaba Kofi Asante on Akoma fm monitored by Africannewsgh stated that, these Health Workers tested positive in this new waves of the virus.

He added that, he had been into self isolation with his family for over two weeks now after testing positive.

He noted that, some of them are asymthomatic and they have not recorded any critical issue.

He revealed that, though they followed all the necessary protocols but they had to risk their life to safe other people who are in critical conditions.

He stated that, they are not frightened by the virus but will do everything to help save life.
