We don’t have a single Infectious disease Nurse in the country- Acting Nurse and Midwifery Director

Acting Director of the Nurse and Midwife Association at the Ministry of Health, Mr. Enoch Yeboah Banabas has lamented that, there is not a single Infectious disease Nurse in the country.

According to him, these type of Nurse have knowledge about how to treat covid-19 in the country.

He added that, only few Doctors have skills about infections and other related diseases.

He urged the government to establish a school to help Nurses have some knowledge about infectious and other diseases in the country.

He pleaded with all Nurses and Midwifes to take care of themselves especially in this covid-19 era.
